Update

It’s been a while since I’ve written anything here. A lot has happened since my last post. I finished Rosenrot, and my beta readers all enjoyed it. I got thumbs up from everyone, so, it’s been added to my growing list of finished books. Eventually, I’ll go back and edit it; probably add more and detail certain scenes a little deeper, but for now, I love how it is, and so do my beta readers. I’ve been busy with social media, and have been advertising myself and my book, Lying with the Devil and it’s gotten a lot of positive response.
I also finished editing Lying with the Devil: Redemption, and sent it into the publisher, and guess what? It got accepted. So, soon, possibly in October, you’ll have the second in the series to read and further see what madness unravels now with Steven as your main character, and his new partner, Chance. The serial killer is far worse than Michael, or so I’ve been told, so you’ll have your hands full with this new book. I’ve also had a few PR members from fellow authors contact me in hopes of me reading their books, and possibly collaborating with them on future books, so we’ll see how that goes in the future for me. As long as I can add my twisted look on things, I think I’ll be fine.

Speaking of twisted. I’ve been writing another psychological thriller titled, Mr. Lonely. It’s set in 1975, with a girl placing an ad in the paper looking for romance after moving to a new state; she’s looking to start fresh and start her life over. However, this man she meets isn’t quite what he seems, and things begin to unfold in the most horrific of ways.
I’ve been enjoying writing this one, probably more than I should, and one day I hope you all get to enjoy the warped world I’ve created there.

I’ve updated the site/blog. I got tired of it looking run down and wanted to make it look crisp and clean and add my touch to it; personalize it more. I hope it’s enjoyable.

This April I’ll be traveling to Chicago to Walker Stalker as well, I’ve never been but it’s been on me and my brother’s bucket list for a while. Not to mention I get to see Michael Rooker for a second time, so I’m excited. It’ll be a small vacation over the weekend, but I’ll be taking my writing laptop with me so I can write in the hotel room during the lulls in the evening. Though, honestly, I’d love to explore Chicago. My Opa, after he moved to the states, came to Chicago to set up shop. He opened up a bar there and told me he served Al Capone several times and enjoyed his company. He came in a lot and ordered drinks for himself but would order milk for his bodyguards because he wanted them sharp, just in case. I’d love to see if the bar was still standing. I doubt it is, but it would be interesting to see if it was.

I think this is all in terms of an update. I’m going to spend the evening writing on Mr. Lonely. I hope everyone enjoys their weekend.
